I was saying how much of a failure this was but it wasn't. I won't give excuses but I ran this with a lot of things going on today and I ran it in a rush, I was running with an empty stomach and I hadn't had any carbs before hand. As of now this is the max I have ran my second time. I ran a month ago a 6:11 and once again I ran a 6:11 today with hopes of breaking that barrier. I didn't run the 5:50 mainly because it was all mental. I know I have the capacity to run it. But I just ran it on the wrong day, I had such a busy day and squeezed in that run hoping to run it. I have to dedicate a day only to running the mile, prepare my meal accordingly, and mentally prepare myself the whole day. Right now it's just a game of mind over body. I know my body can do it. Now I just have to prepare a day where I am not busy, where I can eat right, and where I conquer my mind.
