Hi everyone, it’s been a minute ♀️
But since restaurants are closed now, I will get back to my other favourite hobby, bodybuilding
It’s that time of the year when the “How lean should I stay in off-season?” question is asked more frequently. The answer will be different for everyone but I thought I would share my take on it.
I think the most important factor is finding the physique/body fat level that requires discipline and effort to maintain, and with that you get closer to your long term goals.
But at the same time, it doesn’t drain you, it allows you to maximize your training and recovery. It also allows you to think outside the bodybuilding box and enjoy life, enjoy the things that you might not be able to do when you are in prep.
It’s ok to stay lean. It’s also ok to gain a bit of extra bodyfat.
Just make sure that you keep your goals in sight, and remember that every day is an opportunity to get closer to them. Everything you do now serves a purpose and has an impact on the actions you will have to take in the future.
