Blue is the warmest colour, but does everything that comes in blue is peaceful and serene?
The forgotten dancer wonders about her time of glamour and zeal and her favourite crown which added beauty to her performances. The crown expressed enigma and zeal in a shade of blue, very regal and royal. It screamed beauty and at the same time, confidence.
Simar, the dancer and owner of the crown worked in a dingy bar where life for her was drab and didn’t reflect much change, her only glimmer of hope being this crown. The moment she put it on, every step she took felt like a royal gesture to her. The blue crown added charm to her movements and personality, and Simar was well aware of that.
The future of the cabaret dance never bloomed in this land but this piece of blue remained with her like a companion who knew her stories and comforted her. Before abandoning this place, she sold it off to an antique collector because she knew her times with it had come to an end, hoping it would be treasured forever. All the memories of struggle and joy were blotted to her chest as she handed it over. For her, this was not just some crown ; this was a part of who she was, carrier of her stories of victory and personal sorrows.
Today, the crown belongs somewhere in a strange place which is oblivious of its history. But the royal blue crown's charm isn't faded away. It grows more precious with age and is already carrying stories of this new place along with the old one, like a grandmother's bag full of tales and memories that smell of warmth and home. She is a wanderer and an observer.
